Hello Vienna People! (it’s been awhile – we miss you)
We have had a busy month or two with many melodies, beats and harmonies flooding the studio in a haze of great times and great tunes!
The Mary + The Banks EP is done! The Big Ol’ bus band and their leader/songwriter Hugh Scott Murray spent a week doing a few bits and pieces of tracking and fully mixing their record with us in October – great fun swing/jazz songs with some brilliant lyrics! Mary from Mary and the Banks dropped in on sunday to record a SECRET song that you’ll be hearing about early in the new year.
We’ve been working on an EP with Vanessa Heinitz, its got pop, its got indie, its got country – its a smorgasbord of fun times – Zane from Mary and the Banks even dropped in to put some sneaky banjo on a track or two!
Our week sees mixing Vanessa’s EP, mixing Marys secret song, tracking some drums for a solo EP, and assembling various children’s toys without much ease
